Front and centre is the Xmas Adventure, our tour for the festive season. You can book any of these tours as a team building event.
In teams, you puzzle your way through Preetz, collect points, and afterwards celebrate the team with the most points over dinner. The programme comes from myCityQuest, you choose the venue and menu yourselves.
A Christmas party in Preetz works best when the two halves are kept separate: the programme that gets your team moving, and the table where everyone sits down afterwards. With myCityQuest, the first part comes from us. The second part stays entirely yours — whichever restaurant you've booked, whatever menu you've chosen. Since the teams are out in the centre of Preetz the whole time, the walk from the last riddle to the first starter is never a long one.
The programme itself is a puzzle tour, played through our app on phones your team already has charged in their pockets. In Preetz it comes as a Xmas Adventure, an Escape Game, a Murder Mystery Tour or a Treasure Hunt — pick whichever fits the mood you're after. Whichever format you choose, the app leads your teams along a fixed route through Preetz, past the Wasserturm and the Heimatmuseum among other corners of the city, setting riddles, codes and photo challenges as they go. Roughly four kilometres on foot, around three hours, with every team racing the others on a shared leaderboard, chatting through a team channel, and dropping photos into one gallery everyone can see. How quickly a team works through the stations is entirely up to them.
Pricing starts from $ 16.99 per person plus VAT. You set the date and time when you book, and booking stays open right up to two days before the event. Invoices, credit card or PayPal all work, and you'll always get a proper VAT invoice for your records.
Our customers come from a wide variety of sectors. Whether industry, retail, government or services: myCityQuest scavenger hunts are an excellent teambuilding event for your company outing, department party or team event - and that at 6,467 locations around the world.
How about a puzzle tour through Preetz with the myCityQuest app as the program before dinner? Your team heads out in small groups, solves challenges at landmarks across the city, and competes team against team for the top spot on the live leaderboard. Several themes are available, and the tour ends in time for the meal.
The tour comes before the meal: about three hours outdoors in Preetz, and everyone is back in time for dinner. You book the restaurant, and the program before it comes from myCityQuest. For the organizer, that leaves little more to do than picking the date and putting the teams together.
A Christmas party that starts out in the city instead of at the table: your company splits into teams and heads through Preetz before the meal, collecting points against the other teams. If a team gets stuck, a myCityQuest guide is just a chat message away. The date is yours to pick, even at short notice in December, and venue and menu stay entirely your decision.
The tour through Preetz is priced from $ 16.99 per person, and you receive an invoice for the booking. Food and drinks afterward are planned by you, so the budget for the evening stays in your hands.
Yes, in a single booking, split into teams that all start together. The price per person stays the same regardless of group size. Mixing departments when forming the teams works well and gets colleagues talking who otherwise rarely cross paths.
You choose the date and the time. The booking is valid for any day you like, in December just like the rest of the year, and the tour starts once the whole team has arrived. Short-notice bookings work too.
Around three hours. That makes it the first half of the evening: the tour first, then dinner with plenty to talk about.
The tour takes place outdoors in Preetz, and you can pause it at any point. If the rain gets heavy or the snow piles up, warm up somewhere dry and pick up right where you left off. Warm jackets and sturdy shoes are part of a Christmas party in December.
