Front and centre is the Xmas Adventure, our tour for the festive season. You can book any of these tours as a team building event.
In teams, you puzzle your way through Zeist, collect points, and afterwards celebrate the team with the most points over dinner. The programme comes from myCityQuest, you choose the venue and menu yourselves.
Sort the venue and the menu yourselves — you already know the restaurants in Zeist and probably the room too. The part that's harder to organise is what happens before everyone sits down, and that's where we come in. Your Christmas party starts as a puzzle tour, played in teams through our app. The app sets the route past corners of Zeist your colleagues walk past every day without noticing, including the likes of Oosterkerk and the Wilhelminamonument, hands out riddles, codes and photo challenges, and keeps score as the teams go. No printed material, no guide walking ahead with a flag — just phones that are charged and an app that knows where everyone needs to go next.
In Zeist the tour runs as Xmas Adventure, Escape Game, Murder Mystery Tour or Treasure Hunt, depending on the mood you're after. Whichever one you pick, the route is set, the stations are the same for every team, and the pace is entirely theirs — some groups jog between challenges, others linger over a photo they're determined to get right. About four kilometres, around three hours, a team chat running underneath it all, and a leaderboard that keeps things competitive until the last point is in. Because the whole thing happens on foot through the centre of Zeist, the walk from the final challenge to dinner is never more than a few minutes.
Booking covers the programme from $ 16.99 per person plus VAT. You choose the date and time when you book, right up to two days beforehand, and settle the invoice, card or PayPal — always with a proper VAT invoice attached. The venue and the food stay entirely yours to arrange; we simply make sure the evening in Zeist has a proper start.
Our customers come from a wide variety of sectors. Whether industry, retail, government or services: myCityQuest scavenger hunts are an excellent teambuilding event for your company outing, department party or team event - and that at 6,467 locations around the world.
How about a puzzle tour through Zeist with the myCityQuest app as the program before dinner? Your team heads out in small groups, solves challenges at landmarks across the city, and competes team against team for the top spot on the live leaderboard. Several themes are available, and the tour ends in time for the meal.
The tour comes before the meal: about three hours outdoors in Zeist, and everyone is back in time for dinner. You book the restaurant, and the program before it comes from myCityQuest. For the organizer, that leaves little more to do than picking the date and putting the teams together.
A Christmas party that starts out in the city instead of at the table: your company splits into teams and heads through Zeist before the meal, collecting points against the other teams. If a team gets stuck, a myCityQuest guide is just a chat message away. The date is yours to pick, even at short notice in December, and venue and menu stay entirely your decision.
The tour through Zeist is priced from $ 16.99 per person, and you receive an invoice for the booking. Food and drinks afterward are planned by you, so the budget for the evening stays in your hands.
Yes, in a single booking, split into teams that all start together. The price per person stays the same regardless of group size. Mixing departments when forming the teams works well and gets colleagues talking who otherwise rarely cross paths.
You choose the date and the time. The booking is valid for any day you like, in December just like the rest of the year, and the tour starts once the whole team has arrived. Short-notice bookings work too.
Around three hours. That makes it the first half of the evening: the tour first, then dinner with plenty to talk about.
The tour takes place outdoors in Zeist, and you can pause it at any point. If the rain gets heavy or the snow piles up, warm up somewhere dry and pick up right where you left off. Warm jackets and sturdy shoes are part of a Christmas party in December.
