Front and centre is the Xmas Adventure, our tour for the festive season. You can book any of these tours as a team building event.
In teams, you puzzle your way through Geldermalsen, collect points, and afterwards celebrate the team with the most points over dinner. The programme comes from myCityQuest, you choose the venue and menu yourselves.
A Christmas party in Geldermalsen works best when it is split into two halves that each do one job well. The first half gets people talking, moving and laughing before anyone sits down. The second half is dinner, wherever your company already books it. We only take care of the first half: the puzzle tour, played through the app, that takes your teams out into Geldermalsen itself. Riddles, codes and photo challenges appear as the app guides each group along a fixed route past corners of Geldermalsen they'd otherwise walk straight past — De Bouwing, Huis te Geldermalsen, the Lingebrug. Around four kilometres, roughly three hours, nothing to carry but a charged phone.
In Geldermalsen the tour comes in a few different shapes — Xmas Adventure, Escape Game, Murder Mystery Tour, Treasure Hunt — so you can match the tone to your team, whether that's a seasonal theme or something closer to a case to solve. Every team plays against the others at the same time: a team chat keeps the banter going, a leaderboard tracks who's ahead, and the app does the counting. How quickly each team moves through the stations is entirely down to them, which keeps faster and slower groups equally in the game.
Because the whole thing plays out in the centre of Geldermalsen, the walk to dinner afterwards is short — the restaurants are right there, and the venue and menu stay entirely your choice. Pricing starts from $ 16.99 per person plus VAT, you set the date and time when booking, and you can book up to two days ahead. Invoice, credit card or PayPal all work, and you'll always get a proper VAT invoice.
Our customers come from a wide variety of sectors. Whether industry, retail, government or services: myCityQuest scavenger hunts are an excellent teambuilding event for your company outing, department party or team event - and that at 6,467 locations around the world.
How about a puzzle tour through Geldermalsen with the myCityQuest app as the program before dinner? Your team heads out in small groups, solves challenges at landmarks across the city, and competes team against team for the top spot on the live leaderboard. Several themes are available, and the tour ends in time for the meal.
The tour comes before the meal: about three hours outdoors in Geldermalsen, and everyone is back in time for dinner. You book the restaurant, and the program before it comes from myCityQuest. For the organizer, that leaves little more to do than picking the date and putting the teams together.
A Christmas party that starts out in the city instead of at the table: your company splits into teams and heads through Geldermalsen before the meal, collecting points against the other teams. If a team gets stuck, a myCityQuest guide is just a chat message away. The date is yours to pick, even at short notice in December, and venue and menu stay entirely your decision.
The tour through Geldermalsen is priced from $ 16.99 per person, and you receive an invoice for the booking. Food and drinks afterward are planned by you, so the budget for the evening stays in your hands.
Yes, in a single booking, split into teams that all start together. The price per person stays the same regardless of group size. Mixing departments when forming the teams works well and gets colleagues talking who otherwise rarely cross paths.
You choose the date and the time. The booking is valid for any day you like, in December just like the rest of the year, and the tour starts once the whole team has arrived. Short-notice bookings work too.
Around three hours. That makes it the first half of the evening: the tour first, then dinner with plenty to talk about.
The tour takes place outdoors in Geldermalsen, and you can pause it at any point. If the rain gets heavy or the snow piles up, warm up somewhere dry and pick up right where you left off. Warm jackets and sturdy shoes are part of a Christmas party in December.
